Planning a Pot Filler for Your Kitchen

A pot filler provides a water outlet near the cooking surface, allowing you to fill cookware where you cook. Selecting one requires planning for both the plumbing connection and the faucet's movement. Measure the distance to the burners you want to reach, check the height of your tallest cookware and allow room for the arm to fold away when it is not in use.

Consider Mounting and Clearance

Wall-mounted and deck-mounted pot fillers require different installation arrangements. Before choosing a model, confirm the planned water supply, mounting support and clearance around the range, backsplash and ventilation equipment. Follow the selected fixture's installation instructions and the appliance manufacturer's clearance requirements. A pot filler helps with filling cookware, but the filled pot still needs to be carried to a sink for draining.
