Well, it’s wintertime and that means we’re all trying to stay warm—at least I am (there’s a blizzard currently, so I won’t be leaving my house any time soon). You’ve probably had your winter clothes out of storage for some time now, but are you feeling like you’re closet and drawers are now overflowing with warm fuzzy fluff? For a lot of women, their scarves can take up quite a bit of space. I never thought scarf organization was a thing until I had a roommate in college who literally had so many scarves that she didn’t have anywhere to put them. I just keep mine in a drawer with my beanies, gloves, and other winter-type accessories, but even still, it seems like there isn’t enough room for them (and I don’t even have that many!). Scarf storage is a real problem for some people. If you’re one of those people, then coming up with a creative way to store your scarves will save you some space and probably a little of your sanity as well.
1. Closet Scarf Organizer
Rev-A-Shelf makes a scarf organizer (that doubles as a belt organizer) and it easily instals in your closet. How convenient! It simply slides in and out. It comes in a 12 inch or 14 inch size and is a great option for those looking for something easy and simple. And it would be a great investment for your closet anyway.
2. DIY Scarf Hanger

You can make your own scarf hanger using just a normal hanger and some shower curtain rings (both of which you can find at a dollar store). Each ring can be used to hold a scarf. Simple as that. You can also buy scarf hangers, but that’s not nearly as fun. And if you’re trying to avoid taking up more space in the closet, then you can put the rings onto a curtain rod and hang them from the wall instead.

Another idea to avoid taking up closet space is to use an over-the-door hanger or even an over-the-door shoe organizer to hold all your scarves. It is a great way to take advantage of space that would normally go unused. This option also makes color coordinating them quite easy.
Stay warm!
