  2. Organizing Bottles, Jars, and Containers

    Organizing Bottles, Jars, and Containers

Whether you like cooking or not, you have to eat to live. So the odds are that you're probably in your kitchen a lot. I am, at least. But every time I walk into the kitchen, there is an assortment of bottles and containers in the cupboards, on the shelves, and on almost every spare inch of counter space I have. Of course, I am responsible for this mess because every time I go shopping, I always bring back a couple of bottles—big, small, painted, plain, etched, metal, glass, acrylic. I think I have it all! Some are for fun or decoration, but a lot of them are completely necessary. I need oil, spices and cleaners.

If you’re in a similar situation, join the homemakers across the world who just cannot stop themselves from stocking up on bottles.

Even though plenty of these containers are useful, it’s time to clean up and get organized. Start by combining things together. If you have 2 of the exact same cleaner, combine them into one bottle and toss the other.

3 Easy Ways to Organize Scarves

Well, it’s wintertime and that means we’re all trying to stay warm—at least I am (there’s a blizzard currently, so I won’t be leaving my house any time soon). You’ve probably had your winter clothes out of storage for some time now, but are you feeling like you’re closet and drawers are now overflowing with warm fuzzy fluff? For a lot of women, their scarves can take up quite a bit of space. I never thought scarf organization was a thing until I had a roommate in college who literally had so many scarves that she didn’t have anywhere to put them. I just keep mine in a drawer with my beanies, gloves, and other winter-type accessories, but even still, it seems like there isn’t enough room for them (and I don’t even have that many!). Scarf storage is a real problem for some people. If you’re one of those people, then coming up with a creative way to store your scarves will save you some space and probably a little of your sanity

New Year, New You: 3 Ways to Get Organized

New year, new you! Yes, it’s a cliché, but it’s also a completely doable cliché. Getting organized is something that many of us think about a lot. Organizing your surroundings will benefit you in more ways than one. It will save you time (have you ever spent an hour searching for something that was right in front of you the whole time?), but it will also save you from stress! I always feel much calmer when my house is clean and organized. Also, organizing what’s around you will help you get your goals in order, too! I know quite a few people, including myself, who have a New Year’s resolution to get organized. 5. 3 Rev-A-Shelf Products to Keep your Kitchen Organized

3 Rev-A-Shelf Products to Keep your Kitchen Organized

If your family is anything like mine, your kitchen is the home’s gathering place. My family eats, hangs out, reads, and often the kitchen is my office with laptop in tow. The problem with the kitchen being so accessible to everyone is clutter. Grocery bags, the kid’s backpacks, dirty dishes, spices, and all the stuff you can’t figure out where to put enables your kitchen to become a dumping ground for countertops, drawers, and even the cabinets when you need to quickly hide everything before company comes over.

Aside from replacing your cabinets – something we’d be happy to do for youJ - there are some tricks of the trade to keep your kitchen clean and organized. It may take a bit of DIY “oomph,” but in no time you’ll have your kitchen prepped and ready for the family to take over.

6 Tips to Keep Any Kitchen Organized and Efficient

If you love to cook, your kitchen should be a comfortable haven. Unfortunately, many people have kitchens that are more like inconvenient disasters. But the great thing is that there are some quick tips you can use to keep any kitchen organized.

    1. Purge Unnecessary Items

We all have kitchen items we have bought on a whim and only used once. Then there are items you may have received as gifts but don't plan to use, or what about those items you keep saying you should get rid of soon because they're getting old? Well, there's no time like the present. You can throw out, yard sale, or donate any old equipment you don't necessarily need anymore, or never needed in the first place.

    2. Minimize Expired Food

Another way to keep your kitchen efficient, and also prevent wasting money, is to avoid having expired food that you have to throw out all the time. One great way to avoid waste is to label everything you put in your freezer with the date that

Reaching out to people with your creative ideas has never been so easy! The explosion in social media platforms connects you to millions across the world. One of the most popular social media platforms, Pinterest, is great for showcasing DIY projects. Pinterest is very user-friendly, is available as a mobile app as well as a website (similar to Facebook) and is brilliant for hosting visual content such as DIY projects, videos etc.

The problem many potential DIYers face is the fear of stepping from the role of pinning other peoples’ projects, to that of starting your own project from the hundreds or thousands you’ve already pinned on your smart phone.
