Styles are constantly changing. The problem is that it can be pretty unrealistic to change the look of your home any time styles change. Remodeling your home every few years is expensive. Luckily, there are a few things we can do to update the looks in our homes without completely remodeling. For example, it may not be realistic to replace your cabinets, but it’s pretty easy to replace just the hardware. And that tiny piece of metal can make quite the difference in style. If you decide to replace your current knobs with different knobs, the process is usually pretty self-explanatory. And you can use the same hole, so there’s not much work to be done. But if you’re going to switch knobs to handles or pulls, then it can get a little more complicated (still pretty easy, though). Knobs only require one hole and handles require two. The last thing you want is an ugly hole right behind your beautiful new cabinets.
So you have two main options: 1) fill the holes or 2)

Winter is coming fast (much too fast if you ask me). I grew up in Southern California so I never really had to worry much about winter coats or anything like that (I wore a sweatshirt once or twice a year, does that count?). But I live in Utah now, and it snowed here already last month—in September! If the rest of the country is experiencing an early winter too, then that means it’s time to get our coats out of storage.
Maybe this sounds petty, but it is what it is, and I’m going to say it. One of the things that annoys me most about winter is that coats and jackets are found everywhere. On the floor in my car, on the floor in my house, hanging over the staircase rail, hanging over the backs of chairs, stuffed inside the toy box, and the list goes on. Needless to say, I’ll be donating some coats this year to the local homeless shelter. But my point is that there’s only 3 people living in my house and we still don’t have enough space to hang all the things we want to hang. I know

In this age of technology, your outlets are bound to be knotted up with cords and chargers of all kinds. (In a few years I predict most chargers will be cordless, but that just isn’t the case yet. So, for now, let’s talk about a solution). If you want to keep from having a messy-looking desk, nightstand, or kitchen counter, then you'll have to find a way to keep your cords organized without having to unplug them, wrap them up, and put them away after every use.
It bothers me that whenever I clean my living room, it never truly feels clean because the cords are so messy-looking! And along with TV cords, there are probably certain cords that

Maybe you’re building a new home. Maybe you're remodeling. Maybe you have cabinet damage from a natural disaster or mold or any other problem. Whatever it is, if you need new cabinets, you should consider RTA (ready to assemble) cabinets as your newest home addition.
When planning to get new cabinets, you have three main options: ready to assemble cabinets, pre-assembled (or assembled) cabinets, and custom cabinets. Below are the specs for each type. As you read, keep in mind that installation of cabinets is a separate process and price than assembling the cabinets. Technically, cabinet installers need to be licensed (most general contractors are). But ROK offers a list of their trusted installers for their customers who are interested.

All-Wood Cabinets
The most important thing you can do to keep your cabinets looking nice is to clean up any spills immediately after they happen. Don’t wait until food or liquid gets hard or crusted on before cleaning it off. Once that happens, cleaning becomes a little more difficult. But it’s not just about the fact that it’s more difficult to get the actual mess off. If left on your cabinets for too long, there is the possibility of discoloration and stains.
Spills can usually be wiped away with a warm, damp rag and mild dishwashing soap. Make sure to dry it afterward.
