Winter is coming fast (much too fast if you ask me). I grew up in Southern California so I never really had to worry much about winter coats or anything like that (I wore a sweatshirt once or twice a year, does that count?). But I live in Utah now, and it snowed here already last month—in September! If the rest of the country is experiencing an early winter too, then that means it’s time to get our coats out of storage.
Maybe this sounds petty, but it is what it is, and I’m going to say it. One of the things that annoys me most about winter is that coats and jackets are found everywhere. On the floor in my car, on the floor in my house, hanging over the staircase rail, hanging over the backs of chairs, stuffed inside the toy box, and the list goes on. Needless to say, I’ll be donating some coats this year to the local homeless shelter. But my point is that there’s only 3 people living in my house and we still don’t have enough space to hang all the things we want to hang. I know
